This offering is for a 5 gallon Buckeye Pottery Co jug. The stamp on the front is circa 1900 and is one Im not familiar with. However, it is shown in a company catalog circa 1900. The marking on the leaf reads THE BUCKEYE POTTERY CO MACOMB ILLINOIS in three lines. The marking isnt what I would call dark but it is all there and easily readable. As you can see there is some chipping on the mouth of the jug as well as a couple of flat shallow flakes off of the squared shoulder. I also see one 1.5" long line on surface of the bottom heal. The jug will weigh app. 23 pounds boxed so the buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 85.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost. If you prefer to arrange for pick-up just let us know.
